Your health is personal

You’ve explored so much in the world of wellness.
Together, let’s discover what’s right for you.

With Dr. Celeste as your guide, you’ll explore the connections between your body, your health, and your daily life—and create a personalized path toward embodied wellness.

You may already know a lot about wellness. But with so many diets, supplements, practices, and opinions to choose from, knowing what is right for you—and how to put it into action—can feel overwhelming.

That is where I come in. Together, we will look at the whole picture: your goals, your body, your daily life, and the possibilities that feel meaningful to you. I will help you sort through the options, understand your choices, and create a personalized path, one manageable step at a time.

As you learn to listen to your body and discover what supports you, you can build the confidence to make informed choices for yourself. I would be honored to be your guide toward embodied wellness.

You feel exhausted, but when it is time to rest, your mind or body still feels “on.”
Your sleep, energy, weight, or hormones have changed, and you are unsure what your body needs now.
You’re experiencing digestive changes or discomfort and want to better understand what supports your gut health.
You have tried wellness programs, functional medicine approaches, diets, or supplements, and still feel that something is missing.
You spend so much time caring for others that your own needs keep getting pushed aside.
You want to feel more connected to your body and create a healthier rhythm that fits your life.
For those who have already tried so much

You’ve done so much for your health.
Something still feels missing.

You may have explored wellness programs, functional medicine, supplements, or different healing practices. You have learned a great deal and made meaningful changes, yet you still do not feel as well as you hoped. I want to understand that experience with you.

Over 20 years of working with clients and patients, I have come to appreciate how much the whole picture matters. More recently, integrating somatic work and closer attention to the nervous system has deepened the way I approach that picture.

We explore how your foundations work together, what needs support first, and what your current capacity allows. That may mean returning to nourishment, daily rhythms, recovery, or nervous-system support before adding more. The next step is chosen for you, with space to notice your response and adapt.

Make sense of what you have tried

We look at your history, what has helped, what has not, and what you are considering now. Together, we identify the priorities that deserve attention and decide what can wait.

Find the right next step for you

We consider the order, pace, and amount of change that fit you. Your plan connects nourishment, movement, sleep, daily rhythms, and recovery in manageable steps.

Include your body’s experience

Somatic awareness and gentle practices help you notice body signals, explore your needs, and make choices with greater understanding and confidence.

My role is to guide and educate you as we bring the pieces together, so you leave with a clearer sense of what supports you and how to carry it forward.

The path we follow

Four phases.
One individual journey.

A personalized 12-week process to understand your body, build capacity and resilience, and strengthen self-trust. The four phases give us a roadmap; your priorities and pace remain individual.

01 / GROUND

Find your footing.

We listen to your story, explore your foundations and current capacity, and create your Embodied Health Map. Together, we identify priorities and choose one to three manageable actions.

02 / RESTORE

Support your basics.

We strengthen the foundations that matter most to you, with attention to obstacles to recovery. There is no fixed order of sleep, food, or exercise; we follow your needs and response.

03 / RECONNECT

Listen inward.

With curiosity and compassion, you practice noticing your body’s signals, emotions, needs, and boundaries—creating space to respond with greater awareness and choice.

04 / EMBODY

Make it your own.

We gather what works into your Personal Embodied Health Manual, a plan for returning after setbacks, and your next 90 days. You practice adapting with greater confidence as life changes.

Personalized from the questions we ask

Your whole story.
A thoughtful path forward.

You are more than a set of symptoms, a lab result, or a protocol. I bring years of education and experience to understanding your story, asking thoughtful questions, and helping you consider what makes sense for you.

Questions before recommendations

We explore what you have tried, how you responded, what is happening in your daily life, and what you want to change. Your experience helps shape the next questions we ask.

A reason for each next step

When testing or products are considered, I want a clear purpose: what question are we trying to answer, and how could the information change your plan? Your needs, priorities, and resources matter.

Science with attentive listening

My grounding in human physiology and naturopathic education works alongside somatic awareness and intuitive listening. We explore possibilities, check assumptions, and adjust as we learn from your experience.

There is a thoughtful process behind our work: listen, ask, consider, prioritize, observe, and adapt. You are part of that process, with room for questions and choices throughout.

Your 12-week experience

Guidance you can bring into real life.

We begin by listening to your story, your goals, and the rhythms of your life. Together, we choose a few meaningful priorities and make adjustments as we discover what supports you.

Begin together

A 90-minute initial session gives us time to hear your story and explore your goals. Your Embodied Health Map brings together strengths, priorities, capacity, and the next steps we choose.

Stay supported

Five follow-up sessions across the 12 weeks, brief weekly check-ins, and a midpoint review offer space to reflect, ask questions, and adjust. We focus on one to three actions at a time.

Carry it forward

Your roadmap and relevant worksheets build toward a Personal Embodied Health Manual: your useful rhythms, practices, early signals, setback plan, and next 90-day priority.

Practices chosen for you

When useful, we select from somatic awareness, grounding, mindfulness, breathwork, yoga-inspired postures, mobility, walking, restorative practices, or appropriately challenging movement. Your goals, preferences, health context, and response guide the choice. These practices are optional; there is no requirement to use every tool.

Capacity, resilience, and self-trust

Capacity is what you can realistically carry and what you want to build. Resilience is your ability to respond, recover, adapt, and return after disruption. Self-trust grows as you learn to notice what supports you, make informed choices, and recognize when you need help.

Session details, check-in arrangements, and current fees are confirmed before enrollment.

Where my approaches meet

Understand the whole picture.
Listen to the body. Find your next step.

The Embodied Path brings together the ways I have learned to understand and support health. We listen to your experience, explore your daily life and your body’s signals, and decide together what deserves your attention now.

Naturopathic foundations

Explore whole-person health, the body’s capacity for healing, and the foundations that support it: nourishment, movement, sleep, daily rhythms, and connection with nature.

Functional medicine perspective

Consider how your history, environment, habits, and health concerns fit together. We ask thoughtful questions and identify priorities instead of assuming there is one cause for every symptom.

Somatic awareness

Practice noticing sensations, stress responses, emotions, and needs. Body-centered practices invite you to respond with more awareness and choice, at a pace that feels manageable.

Your path in practice

The Embodied Path provides personalized coaching, guidance, and education. Together, we create a plan with meaningful steps, regular reflection, and adjustments based on your experience and real life.

Clinical assessment, testing, diagnosis, and treatment are considered separately within an appropriate Rhode Island naturopathic care relationship. Somatic practices in the program do not replace psychotherapy.

Getting to know your inner world

Five channels of awareness.
A conversation with yourself.

Just as our senses help us navigate the world around us, these five channels offer ways to explore our internal environment. In our somatic sessions, I help you notice, describe, and make sense of what you are experiencing—with curiosity, at your pace, and without assuming what it means.

Mind · Thoughts & logic

The thoughts, beliefs, questions, and explanations you use to make sense of your experience.

Imagination · Images & possibilities

Images, memories, metaphors, and imagined past or future scenes that help express your inner experience.

Posture & movement · How your body expresses

Gestures, posture, movements, stillness, and impulses to move that you notice as we explore together.

Sensations · What you notice physically

Experiences such as warmth, tension, heaviness, tingling, or ease—and how they shift from moment to moment.

Emotions & feelings · What you feel

Feelings such as joy, sadness, anger, fear, or relief, with room to notice and express them in your own way.

You do not need to be good at noticing all five. We follow what feels accessible to you, and you can pause or choose a different approach at any time.

The philosophy behind the path

Our relationship with nature.
Our relationship with ourselves.

Sometimes, it is about more than the food you are eating or the “roll call” of your microbiome. There is also your relationship with your external environment—and your internal world.

The light you live by, the pace of your days, the demands you carry, your relationships, and how you experience your own body all deserve a place in the conversation. Food and gut health matter. They are part of a much larger picture.

“The further we move from nature, the sicker we become.”

A guiding belief in my work — Dr. Celeste

For me, that belief is an invitation to look at where our lives have drifted from the rhythms that sustain us, and how we might reconnect. It is not a judgment about why someone is ill. It is a reason to make room for nature, nourishment, rest, connection, and the body’s capacity for healing alongside appropriate medical care.

My approach is rooted in the healing power of nature: respecting the body’s capacity for repair, adaptation, and recovery, while recognizing when medical care is needed. I bring my doctorate in naturopathic medicine to my role as your guide and teacher.

I take a bioregulatory perspective—looking at the conditions that support the body’s own regulation, rather than treating each concern as an isolated piece. We explore the whole person, including nervous-system patterns, endocrine health, nourishment, movement, environment, and rest.

Circadian rhythms and the cycles of nature are a practical part of this work. We look at your relationship with morning light and evening darkness, sleep and waking, activity and recovery, and the changing seasons. Together, we find ways to bring those rhythms into your actual life.

My role is to help you understand your patterns, identify priorities, and practice meaningful changes. Your experience guides our pace; my training helps guide our questions and next steps.

Six principles that guide my naturopathic practice

The Healing Power of Nature

Support the body’s capacity for healing and its relationship with the natural world.

First Do No Harm

Choose thoughtful, proportionate approaches and recognize when other care is needed.

Identify and Treat the Causes

Investigate contributing factors while attending to the person’s immediate needs.

Treat the Whole Person

Consider physical health, emotions, lived experience, daily habits, and environment together.

Doctor as Teacher

Offer understanding and practical tools that support informed choices and self-direction.

Prevention

Build foundations that support long-term health and address risks thoughtfully.

These principles inform my professional philosophy. The Embodied Path’s interstate services are coaching and education; Rhode Island naturopathic medical care is arranged through a clinical relationship. About the six naturopathic principles.

Five areas, one whole person

Your body has its own rhythms.
Let’s reconnect with them—and with nature.

Together, we look through five connected areas of wellness. Your goals, current capacity, and experience help us decide which needs attention now. These areas guide our questions throughout the four phases; they are not five fixed assignments.

RHYTHM · Live in rhythm

Sleep and waking, daylight and darkness, meal timing, work and rest, and the rhythms of the week and seasons. We explore how your days can better support you, drawing on nature and Ayurvedic principles when useful.

NOURISH · Give yourself what you need

Food, hydration, digestion, gut health, bowel function, and your relationship with nourishment. We consider what is adequate, accessible, enjoyable, and appropriate for you.

BUILD · Develop your capacity

Strength, muscle, bone-supportive activity, mobility, cardiovascular fitness, and recovery. Movement can be gentle or challenging: we choose the approach that fits your goals, health context, preferences, and readiness.

REGULATE + RECOVER · Respond and return

Explore how you meet demands, notice stress responses, recover, and regain choice. Somatic awareness, breathwork, grounding, and movement are selected for your comfort and needs. Regulation can include both settling and mobilizing.

ALIGN · Make room for what matters

Your plan should fit your values, relationships, responsibilities, resources, and season of life. We explore boundaries, support, your internal and external environments, and what you can realistically carry now.

Across these areas, we may explore concerns about energy, digestion, weight, metabolism, and the whole endocrine system—including thyroid, adrenal, reproductive, and blood-sugar-related hormones. These questions help us identify useful education and when clinical evaluation is needed.

We also look for obstacles to recovery: a lack of rest or nourishment, difficulties with elimination, an environment that needs attention, competing demands, or unresolved health concerns. We choose what deserves a closer look rather than assuming every possible issue applies to you.

Depending on your goals, we may explore wellness options such as herbs, supplements, and homeopathy. Products and tests are not automatically assigned to every client. Guidance and services depend on your location, individual needs, and the type of care we have agreed upon. Clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment are provided through the appropriate care relationship.

Meet your guide

I’m Dr. Celeste.

My education in whole-person health began at home, through my parents and the way I was raised. Eastern medicine, Ayurvedic principles, and macrobiotic eating were part of our family life. Both of my parents were massage therapists, and my father also practiced Hakomi therapy. Their work in holistic care and gong and sound healing helped shape the environment in which I grew up.

I spent much of my childhood in a spiritual community where yoga, meditation, chanting, and selfless service were woven into daily life—long before I understood them as practices I would later draw on in my work.

My formal education began with a bachelor’s degree in human physiology from Boston University, followed by a doctorate in naturopathic medicine. I am a Rhode Island licensed naturopathic doctor, licensed massage therapist, somatic therapy practitioner, certified nutrition coach, and NASM-certified corrective exercise specialist. My background also includes years as a certified personal trainer and further training in wellness coaching and breathwork.

I bring together naturopathic foundations, Ayurvedic principles, functional nutrition, somatic awareness, nervous-system support, and therapeutic bodywork. As your guide and wellness detective, I help you look at patterns across your health and daily life and decide what to focus on first. I work with people navigating stress, fatigue, sleep difficulties, digestive concerns, hormone transitions, weight concerns, and pain.

I also enjoy working with herbs through an energetic lens and am currently completing an energetic herbal certification. Homeopathy is an important part of my naturopathic practice. My training includes four years of homeopathy study at NCNM, further study with the New England School of Homeopathy, and time at a homeopathic teaching hospital in India.

My own experience with cancer, surgeries, and difficult seasons of life taught me the importance of slowing down. When I began learning somatic therapy, I practiced it with myself first. That experience deepened my understanding of how vital mind–body medicine is. Somatic therapy and breathwork have brought another dimension to the science, hands-on experience, and holistic traditions that shape my work.

My work is guided by a belief that health is deeply connected to our relationship with nature. Modern life can pull us away from daylight, seasonal rhythms, nourishing food, movement, and rest. I help people make space for those foundations again, drawing on naturopathic and Ayurvedic principles, somatic awareness, and each person’s lived experience.

Notice your patterns.
Reconnect with your needs.
Practice a different rhythm.

The Embodied Path offers a space to notice, respond, and choose—with practices you can carry into daily life. Virtual coaching focuses on education, self-awareness, and sustainable habits. Naturopathic medical care is available to Rhode Island patients through a separate clinical relationship.

Before you begin

A few things
you may be wondering.

Do I need experience with somatic practices?

No prior experience is needed. We begin with simple awareness practices and adapt them to your comfort. You can pause or decline any practice.

Can I participate from outside Rhode Island?

The program is designed for virtual coaching and education. Availability depends on your location and the services requested. Medical diagnosis and treatment are not provided through interstate coaching.

Is this therapy or medical treatment?

The coaching program is not psychotherapy, trauma treatment, or a substitute for medical care. We clarify scope and suitability before beginning. Rhode Island naturopathic care is arranged separately.

Can I include massage or bodywork?

In-person massage or bodywork may be arranged separately, subject to availability. We can discuss whether it fits your goals when we connect.

Is the full 12-week program right for me?

The Path is designed for people with several connected concerns who want comprehensive, personalized guidance. If your main need is a focused clinical concern, somatic sessions, or bodywork, we can discuss whether a different service would fit better.

Will everyone receive the same plan or need tests and supplements?

No. We begin with your goals, history, existing information, and current capacity. Your plan is released in manageable steps and changes with your response. Tests or products need a clear purpose and are considered only within the appropriate service relationship.

What is the cost and session schedule?

Contact Dr. Celeste for current fees, session frequency, and availability. These details are agreed upon before you enroll.
